Blogging Everyday : Good or Bad For Your Online Marketing Business?

I have been wondering lately about whether or not it's a good idea to make a blog post every single day, 365 days per year for your online marketing or other business.

At first, it did create more unique visits to my website daily, but after reaching a certain height and plateau, and even seeing a decrease in traffic thereafter, I have been trying to reevaluate the importance and effectiveness of daily blogging.

Part of the problem with my blog as I see it is that it seems to be a constant stream of daily articles. When I look at my blog, I think that this may be overkill on trying to provide quality content for my readers.

In fact, I even tend to think my blog looks a little boring with daily article posts, and that I am very excited when I can just write a post such as this one that isn't cram packed with internet marketing and online marketing business information.

There are arguments out there on the subject, and recently I came across a great article in Digg that covers the basis on this argument, and I'd like to share the same article with you. It's called
10 Reasons You Should Not Blog Everyday, and I think it's well worth the read if you have the same concerns about daily blogging.

Spamming the search engines with keyword packed posts is becoming not so acceptable. Turning readers off with too much content may be worse than not having enough quality content.

I encourage you to read this post and decide for yourselves how you wish to conduct your blog now, and in the future. It may not be necessary to blog and ping every single day, and from most online marketing business perspectives, this may free up some of your time to work on other things.
